May came to the United States at the age of eleven, carrying a quiet dream of one day creating something meaningful. While pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business at the University of California, Irvine, she grew curious about storytelling and human expression, which led her to take an acting class during a gap semester. Through that experience, she began to see acting as a way to explore emotion and connect with people on a deeper level.

Due to practical financial circumstances, May built a professional career in the restaurant industry. Though it was not directly related to her creative aspirations, she continued to nurture her artistic side through modeling experiences.

A major car accident became a turning point in her life. During recovery, when she experienced temporary paralysis caused by spinal stenosis, May realized how fragile opportunities could be — and how deeply she would regret not giving her all to acting. That moment solidified her decision to follow this path wholeheartedly.

Although she has only just begun her acting journey, May believes her diverse life experiences allow her to bring authenticity and grounded emotion to her performances. Her vision is to portray everyday life and emotions with sincerity — creating a sense of truth that quietly resonates with audiences.
