Born in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, Jayden grew up deeply immersed in the world of cinema, thanks to his father—a poet and avid film lover. Inspired by countless Hollywood masterpieces from a young age, Jayden quickly developed a passion for storytelling and set his sights on a future in the film industry.
At the age of 17, Jayden had the honor of representing South Korea as an International Juror at the Giffoni Film Festival in Italy. Surrounded by young film enthusiasts from all over the world, he was profoundly moved by the universal language of cinema and the power it holds to connect people across borders. This life-changing experience led him to become involved with the IYMS (International Youth Media Summit), where he continued to be inspired by the dreams and voices of global youth using film as a tool for dialogue and change.
Determined to pursue his passion, Jayden went to California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), to major in Screenwriting, and minor in Acting. Despite facing significant challenges—including the COVID-19 pandemic and completing his mandatory military service in Korea concurrently—he never gave up in his creative journey. Now back in the United States, but on the east coast this time, Jayden is actively pursuing his dream as both an actor and screenwriter, committed to telling meaningful stories that resonate across cultures.
